Why choose yoga as your exercise intervention?

The American Cancer Society recommends that a cancer patient or survivor gets a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week to manage health and reduce the chances of a recurrence. Active yoga practice is safe, adaptable, and can be cheaper than other types of exercise interventions.

Getting Started Videos: We recommend that any new student to yoga or new to yoga4cancer watch all ‘Getting Started’ videos. These provide the necessary foundation and support to ensure your practice is safe and effective. Doctor approval: All participants should discuss exercise with their doctors before practice.
